Description
Apollo SpaceDisc Volume 2 Laserdisc from Alan Bean's Personal Collection, with Certificate of Authenticity. A 12", 58 minute long video disc published by Vision Video Associates in 1968. According to The Videodisc Book: A Guide and Directory (Rod Daynes and Beverly Butler, John Wiley & Sons, 1984) it contains: "approximately 10,000 NASA photos of the Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 missions featuring astronaut training, spacecraft preparation, launch, mission, and recovery. Coverage of the 'on-board' mission photography includes almost everything shot by the astronauts during each mission; also movie highlights of each mission." Extremely rare. We wonder if Captain Bean watched the Apollo 12 material over and over as the cover and disc both are quite worn.Auction Info
