Description

Apollo SpaceDisc Volume 2 Laserdisc from Alan Bean's Personal Collection, with Certificate of Authenticity. A 12", 58 minute long video disc published by Vision Video Associates in 1968. According to The Videodisc Book: A Guide and Directory (Rod Daynes and Beverly Butler, John Wiley & Sons, 1984) it contains: "approximately 10,000 NASA photos of the Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 missions featuring astronaut training, spacecraft preparation, launch, mission, and recovery. Coverage of the 'on-board' mission photography includes almost everything shot by the astronauts during each mission; also movie highlights of each mission." Extremely rare. We wonder if Captain Bean watched the Apollo 12 material over and over as the cover and disc both are quite worn.
