Description
Colt Lightning Slide Action Small Frame Rifle. Serial No. 80874, .22 caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with front and rear sight. Blued finish with smooth straight walnut stock and forearm. Barrel marked with Colt name and Hartford address and patent dates. Colt buttplate. Tang mounted peep sight. Manufactured 1897.Condition: Good. Retaining about 20-30% original blue finish, the balance a smooth gray. Scattered light spotting and some light pitting on the barrel and receiver. Stock is good with scattered stains, scratches and bruises. Dark bore with light rifling and some pitting.
