James Lovell Signed Major League Baseball with Additional Handwritten Remarks, in Acrylic Display with Mission Patch. An official ball (Bud Selig signature) signed on the "sweet spot": "James Lovell/ Apollo 13 CDR". On adjacent panels, he has written: "Houston we've had a problem" and "A successful failure!", two very familiar phrases related to the near-tragic mission in April 1970. It has been placed in a 5" x 8" x 5" acrylic display case with adhered 4" embroidered mission patch. Excellent.Auction Info
