Description
Andy Warhol Original Italian Luxit ArtLight "Moonwalk" Lamp, circa 2004, Originally from the Personal Collection of Buzz Aldrin. An incredibly rare table / wall lightbox-type lamp with the famous Warhol depiction of Aldrin on the moon next to the American flag. This was one of Warhol's last works, created shortly before his untimely death in 1987, this being the "yellow" version. Made in Italy, Model AW31 Yellow- both noted on the back. Measures 8" x 8" x 3". Lightbulb included, excellent working condition. Don't miss this iconic pop culture piece. Included with the lot are three pages (in Italian) copied from a mid-2000s Luxit catalog that shows the information on this series of lamps and includes an image of this particular model.
