16th Century European Cabasset. The dome-shaped metal helmet of traditional form, with brass riveted lower border and roped narrow brim. Interior with armorer's hammer marks. Height: 10 3/4-inches. Sold together with clear acrylic display stand. Condition: Good. Metal showing wear and age patina, losses to rivets and 1/4-inch hole drilled in back brim for hanging.Auction Info
