Apollo 14 Command Module Kittyhawk Flown Spring Clip on Wooden Display Plaque. A 2.5" x 2.5" ball bearing spring clip bearing the numbers: "V36-601229, 063262 AAJ 2106, and 184-69-NC". The clip has been adhered to a 6" x 8" wooden display plaque with metal plate stating: "To ANDY PHILLIPS/ This clip was used in the Command Module/ Kittyhawk on the Apollo 14 Lunar Mission. /Jan. 31-Feb 9, 1971". This clip spent nine days in space as Alan Shepard made his return to space and became the first of the Mercury astronauts to walk on the moon. Very desirable flown artifact. Very fine.
