Ex. Jim McDivitt
Apollo 9 Flown Terminal Phase Initiate (TPI) Appendix Book
Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander Jim
McDivitt, with COA. An 8" x 10" sixteen page book, three-hole
punched and ring bound, consisting of data for the first flight
with a Lunar Module. Flown aboard Apollo 9 where luckily all
procedures worked properly, therefore the front has been noted:
"Not Needed! / Used Normal With All Systems. OK". McDivitt
has signed on the front in his customary green ink: "Flown On/
Apollo 9/ Jim McDivitt". Included is a COA on McDivitt's
letterhead stating that the book was flown and is from his personal
collection. Very fine.
