Description
Apollo 11 Crew-Signed "Tribute to Aerospace" Dinner Invitation from May 20, 1989. A 4.5" x 7" deckle-edged foldover invite on buff cardstock with the "Flight Test Historical Foundation" logo on the front along with the black ink signatures: "Neil Armstrong", "Mike Collins", and "Buzz Aldrin". The front cover also bears an $8.75 Express Mail stamp with a large July 20, 1989, pictorial cancellation from Wapakoneta, Ohio. The $100 per person donation was "To benefit the development of the Flight Test Center Museum at Edwards Air Force Base" and the dinner was held at the Pacific Ballroom at the Los Angeles Hilton.
