Description

Apollo 12 Flown LM 6 Plaque Replica on Wooden Display, from Mission Lunar Module Pilot Alan Bean's Personal Collection, with Certificate of Authenticity. A 9" x 7.5" aluminum plaque that reads: "APOLLO 12/ NOVEMBER 1969" with the crew's facsimile signatures and names below. There is an engraved plate beneath reading: "This plaque was flown to the moon and back by the crew of Apollo 12. It is a replica of the plaque on LM 6 which landed on the Ocean of Storms November 19, 1969." A wonderful display piece. Only the second we've encountered. A diagonal scratch and a couple of nicks on the surface, fine otherwise. From the estate of Moonwalker and Artist Alan Bean.
