Gemini 11 Flown Gold Colored Fliteline Medallion
Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander
Charles Conrad, with Nancy Conrad Signed Certificate of
Authenticity. This 20 mm x 25 mm medal was flown aboard Gemini
11 with crewmembers Pete Conrad and Richard Gordon between
September 12 and 15, 1966. The design includes the Roman numeral
"XI," the Agena target vehicle, the orbital apogee path, and a
spacewalking astronaut. On the reverse, above the sterling
hallmark, is vertically engraved the mission and its dates. Very
fineIncluded with this lot is a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Conrad's widow, Nancy Conrad. Conrad would go on to be the Commander on both Apollo 12 and Skylab 2. From the Family Collection of Jacques Bracke.
