Description

Splendid Cigar Cutter "Revolver" From the G.A.R. St. Louis Twenty-First National Encampment, September 26-30, 1887. A superb copy of a small pocket pistol with a 2.75" octagonal barrel and walnut grips. The metal is finished in nickel. The barrel is engraved with the encampment date, place, etc. A cigar is placed in a hole at the top of the cylinder, the hammer cocked, and once the trigger is pulled, a sharpened blade on the face of the hammer acts as a cutter. The cut tips are removed by lifting the cylinder loading door and emptying the contents. Fully functional and in excellent condition.
