George Armstrong Custer Tintype from a Carte de Visite. Measuring 1.5" x 2" (sight), Custer is seen in this iconic image sitting on a chair, arms and legs folded. The photograph is undated, but is from circa late 1864/early 1865 as Custer is wearing the insignia of a major general. Matted with an oval mat to an overall size of 1.75" x 2.25".Auction Info
