Description
John F. Kennedy and Family: Collection of White House-Era Photographs including Candids. A large and varied grouping of photos, some snapshots and some official White House or press photos. There are approximately twenty-five of 8" x 10" (both B&W and color) including one portrait of JFK and Jackie with facsimile signatures and several taken at JFK's funeral procession. Another group of approximately twenty-five photos are of smaller sizes, from 4" x 3" to 7" x 9". Many of these were taken at Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Quite a number of the photos in this lot depict the Kennedy children along with Foster and several are possibly unpublished. An interesting glimpse into the Camelot years.
