Rare Original Work: List of Staff Officers of the Confederate States Army, 1861-1865. Washington: Government Printing Office, 1891. 186 pages. Octavo. A sound copy of this scarce original work, a stand -alone reference for detailed information of Confederate Staff Officers. This copy contemporarily replace wrapper and a few pages have been reinforced with paper. Internally it remains solid and in very good condition. The book is housed in a beautiful red morocco clamshell case, lettered in gilt on the spine. Accompanying this scarce work are two signed first edition copies of Donald A. Hopkins The Little Jeff. The Jeff Davis Legion, Cavalry of Northern Virginia, published by White Mane Books in 1999. Both copies are in fine condition.Auction Info
