Union Major General Henry Warner Slocum Pair of Cartes de Visite. (1) CDV of the general seated, in uniform, measuring approximately 2.5" x 4", with a Churchill & Denison, Albany studio mark on the verso. Light age toning to mount, else a bright, clear image in excellent condition. (2) CDV bust portrait of the general in uniform, approximately 2.5" x 4", with an R. W. Addis, Washington studio mark on the verso. Fine condition. Henry Slocum (1827-1894) graduated in 1852 from West Point and saw his first action in the Seminole war. During the Civil War he participated at Bull Run, Peninsula, Second Bull Run, Antietam, Chancellorsville, and Gettysburg among others.
