Description
Harry S. Truman Printed Farewell Letter with Holographic Signature "Harry Truman." One page, 7.25" x 10.5", circa 1953. This a printed facsimile Truman sent out in response to all letters received at the conclusion of his term in office. This example is addressed in Truman's hand to a Mrs. Ella M. Affol. Truman adds his signature beneath his printed signature. Matted to an overall size of 11" x 13.25".Condition: Usual mail folds, light toning and mat burn along margins, two small strips of tape adhere the letter to the mat. Corners of mat slightly bumped. Otherwise, in very fine condition.
