Dunham, Carrigan & Hayden Co. San Francisco Clipped-Point Knife, Circa 1890-1910. 4.25" single-edged steel blade with clipped point (8.75" overall), stamped on left ricasso "Dunham,/ Carrigan/ & Hayden Co./ San Francisco", with 0.25" nickel ferrule and cross-hatched ebony grip attached with a single nickel rivet. No sheath. Dunham, Carrigan & Hayden Company was a hardware wholesaler in San Francisco from 1875 until 1946. A beautiful knife in excellent condition, never polished or sharpened, with only a few areas of light, shallow pitting to the blade.Auction Info
