Published by Foster Photo Play Company. Featuring images of broad jumpers Edward Gordon and Silvio Cator, relay runners Miss Louise Stokes and Miss Tydie Pickett, heavyweight champion boxer Santiago A. Lovell, high jumper Cornelius Johnson, and track runners Andre Theard and Phil Edwards. There are also images of "Buddies" Ralph Metcalfe and Eddie Tolan, and the "100 Meter Sensational Finish".

Ed Tolan Photograph

A portrait of Ed Tolan wearing his University of Michigan sweatshirt. Stamped on verso "Acme NewsPictures". Tolan had set the new world record for the 100-yard dash at the Western Conference track championship meet.

Condition: The broadside has dampstaining at the top left edge, with a small tear at the top center and an uneven left vertical edge. The two photographs have light edge wear and soiling. The image of the two bounders has a tear and some paper loss at the lower right side.
