Description
John F. Kennedy: Strands of Hair. This lot contains approximately seven short strands of JFK's hair. These strands were collected by barber Harry Gelbart after giving President Kennedy a haircut at the Santa Monica beachfront home of actor Peter Lawford (likewise a Gelbart client) in July 1963. The lot is accompanied by a signed, notarized statement from Gelbart to John Reznikoff attesting to the details and provenance.Auction Info
