Description
George Washington Clipped Signature "G: Washington." Small slip, 4.5" x 2.5", no place; no date [circa 1789-1797]. Taken from a larger document, and below the signature are the printed words, "By the President." The document was countersigned by Edmund Randolph. The signature is slabbed to the overall size of 7" x 4.5".Condition: Unevenly toned throughout. Flattened fold creasing. Dampstaining is present. There is a small slip of mounting paper at the center on verso with some adhesive residue.
