[Arthur Rackham, illustrator]. Mother Goose: The Old Nursery Rhymes. London: [1913]. One of 1,130 copies signed by Rackham. Number 199 of 1,130 signed copies. Quarto. 160 pages. With thirteen tipped-in color plates mounted on brown paper with captioned tissue guards inserted throughout and text illustrations. Publisher's full cream buckram, front board and spine decoratively stamped in gilt, rear board with publisher's slug stamped in blind. Spine toned, bumped and rubbed at edges. Boards soiled and rubbed, corners slightly bumped. Endleaves a bit toned, some occasional thumbsoiling or offsetting in text. A good copy. Latimore and Haskell, pp. 40-41; Riall, p. 115.Auction Info
