Signed and inscribed by the author to the front free endpaper recto; also signed by the author to the front blank.Octavo. 254 pp. Publisher's black cloth with red and gilt-stamped spine; original illustrated dust jacket, artwork by Freda Nichols. Very minor edgewear. Internally generally clean; top edge slightly darkened, minor intermittent foxing chiefly contained to edges. Dust jacket unclipped (10s. 6d. net); minor edgewear, minor soiling on back panel. Very good book with very good dust jacket.
