Photogravures (each one in duplicate) after original drawings inserted throughout, with printed tissue guards. Publisher's brown cloth, printed paper spine labels; text block edges untrimmed; each volume housed in brick-red cloth-covered slipcase. Backstrips worn, spine ends pushed and showing a bit of wear; spine labels tanned and rubbed, with some speckle soiling, small damp stain at first volume label; minor edge wear to boards. Text block softly dulled; a bit of wear to page edges from handling. Slipcases bumped and worn, with boards peeking through cloth at majority of corners; paper labels along top edges tanned, several partially or completely missing. Very good text blocks in good binding and housing.
