Octavo (8 x 5 inches; 203 x 127 mm.). [2], xvi, [433], [1, blank], [20, index] pages. Two engraved folding maps, one folding plan and one inserted folding table. Later speckled calf; boards and spine stamped in gilt; gilt fillet decorations and inside dentelles; five raised bands at spine with dark green and red morocco spine labels, lettered in gilt. All edges trimmed and gilt. Marbled endpapers. Mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; slight wear at joints. Possibly lacking a half-title. First folding map a touch worn at creases with evidence of previous folding pattern; short tear starting along fold from one edge. Very slightly toned on greenish-blue-tinted paper stock; almost no foxing or spotting. Near fine. Howes I12; Sabin 34355.
