FIRST EDITION. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the half-title: "Bernard Malamud."
With a letter from the previous owner detailing the circumstances by which the book was signed; the previous owner was a student of Bernard Malamud at Oregon State University.
Condition: Light toning to cloth, a few scuffs. Dust jacket decoratively clipped as issued, retaining price ($3.00), somewhat foxed, a few short tears and minor chips.
