Frontispiece and four additional plates by J. Allen St. John. Publisher's gray cloth, spine and front lettered in black and decorated in red and black; all text block edges trimmed, top edge stained red; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends slightly pushed and worn; minor loss to black stamping at front ornament; hint of wear to board edges. Endpapers and text block softly dulled with age.
