Birmingham: Published by the Author at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, 1917. 8vo, original printed gray wrappers, sewn as issued, uncut; quarter morocco slipcase. FIRST EDITION. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the title-page. RARE: only a few copies were privately printed for the author. Very minor toning to wrappers at margins, slightest bumping to edges, otherwise fine. - Drinkwater. Tides. London: Sidgwick & Jackson, Ltd., 1917. 8vo, original rose-colored cloth, printed paper spine label. FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR on the verso of half-title: "To David Cecil / from John Drinkwater / May 1918." Spine a little faded, some rubbing and wear to spine label; endpapers and facing pages a little toned. - Drinkwater. Cotswold Characters. New Haven: Yale University Press, 1921. 8vo, with five wood engravings by Paul Nash, original mottled brown boards with printed paper cover label; dust jacket. FIRST EDITION. Binding very fine; dust jacket price-clipped, slight toning to spine panel, a little chipping along upper edge, some creasing at folds. Bookplate of K. Edward Carlson. - Drinkwater. The Collected Poems. London: Sidgwick and Jackson Limited, 1923. 2 volumes, 8vo, original white buckram, gilt-lettered on upper covers and spines, top edges gilt, others uncut and partially unopened; publisher's board slipcases. FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, number 73 of 230 copies SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Some minor soiling, some minor blistering to cloth on Vol. II, otherwise very fine; some splitting and wear to boxes; slight odor.
