Description
Black Hills Treasure Coach Boudoir Card. This 8.5" x 5" mounted photo by J. C. H. Grabill of Sturgis, Dakota Territory shows a "Black Hill Treasure Coach". The coach is pulled by six dapple horses. There is a Wells, Fargo & Company strongbox secured to the top. The person right next to the driver holds a rifle. The name of the owner is inscribed on the back side: "Capt. McDougall 7th Cavalry". There is overall light soiling and even fading. The subject matter and provenance are quite appealing.Auction Info
