Buffalo Bill and Pawnee Bill: Local Program for their Joint Show. Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show had some rough times financially. In an effort to "right the ship," a merger was formed with a major competitor, "Pawnee Bill." This rare twelve-page program was given to patrons of the new entity. It combined the "best of both worlds," namely: "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Combined With Pawnee Bill's Great Far East." The undated newsprint program measures 6.75" x 9.875" and is in excellent condition. It contains numerous display ads from Trenton, New Jersey, merchants and was issued in conjunction with a series of appearances by Cody and Lillie in Philadelphia, Chester, Camden, and Trenton. The pages of the program detail a total of nineteen "episodes" that comprised the show.Auction Info
