Franklin D. Roosevelt: Official 1941 Inauguration Medal Mounted in Silver Bowl. Franklin D. Roosevelt: Official 1941 Inauguration Medal Mounted in Silver Bowl. 40mm bronze medal issued for FDR's 1941 inauguration. Obverse with FDR's head with "Franklin Delano Roosevelt. President of the United States of America © 1941," and reverse with wreath design surrounded by stars and "Third Inauguration Jan. 20, 1941." The medal has been mounted in a silver bowl measuring 6.25" wide from the handle ends, 4" bowl diameter, and 1" deep. Handles with eagle design.Condition: Medal with some toning along the upper right obverse and wear likely from the mounting process.
