Description
Decorative Americana: Tin Anniversary Stovepipe Hat. In 19th century Pennsylvania, it was the custom to give tin artifacts as wedding anniversary gifts. We believe this 10 1/2" tall tin hat to fall into that category, even though there's a temptation to attribute it to Abraham Lincoln. Ex: J. Doyle Dewitt Collection.Condition: Excellent.
