Martin Van Buren: Two Campaign Biographies by Holland.1) William M. Holland, "The Life and Political Opinions of Martin Van Buren, Vice President of the United States", Hartford, Belknap & Hamersley, 373 pp., 2nd edition, 4.5" x 7.5", bound in light beige embossed cloth. Some warping to text block, bumped corners, spine separated/lifting along left side. 2) A first edition of the previous, published in 1835. Bound in light brown embossed cloth. Front cover very-nearly detached. These were issued in preparation for Van Buren's successful campaign for the Presidency in 1836.
