Andrew Jackson: Anti-Nullification Speech Silk Broadside. 18" x 24.5" [sight] broadside titled "Proclamation By Andrew Jackson, President of the United States." It prints his message of December 10, 1832 in response to the Nullification Crisis occasioned by the decision of South Carolina to nullify a federal tariff law. Published by True & Greene of the "American Statesman" in Boston. Mat secured with staples around the perimeter. Should re-mat and frame nicely.



Condition: Matted, glued at very edges to cardboard. Scattered age and small holes. Matt secured with staples. With re-matting the silk will present well.
