Andrew Jackson: 1834 Hard Times Anti-U. S. Bank Cartoon. 20.5" x 14.5" lithograph cartoon titled "Explosion of Biddle & Cos. Congress Water Fount." It depicts Nicholas Biddle, Daniel Webster, Henry Clay, and John C. Calhoun being blown away by the explosion of a "Congress Water [Fountain]". Major Jack Downing confers with President Jackson while Lady Liberty ("Public confidence in Public funds") stands guard over the people's money.

Condition: 1" tear at top left with faint corner crease lower right. Excellent overall.
