Description
John F. Kennedy: 9 Pieces of JFK Family Tableware with Provenance. Several pieces of simply designed white pottery tableware with provenance from a sale in February 2005 by Sotheby's (some bearing stickers but all having tags with red ribbon ties) identifying the items as "Property From the Kennedy Family Homes". The pieces include: (1) A syrup pitcher or creamer 5" tall, white with ribbed sides, marked on bottom Lord Nelson Pottery England. Spout with light chipping else fine. (2) Large meat platter 14.25" wide, marked made in Portugal for Neuwirth on bottom. Excellent condition. (3) 3.75" Egg cup, no makers mark, excellent. (4) 5" cereal or porridge bowl, several thin hairlines at bottom extending into one side, makers mark on bottom. (5) 3.75" tall coffee mug, couple negligible flea bites on rim, otherwise excellent. (6) 3.5" tall coffee mug, one tiny chip at bottom edge otherwise excellent. (7) 9" soup bowl, makers mark from Walker China at bottom. Excellent condition. (8) 7.5" salad or butter plate, no makers mark, excellent condition. (9) 10" dinner plate, no makers mark, excellent condition.Auction Info
