Description

Warren G. Harding: Archive of Personal Items. Group of items that belonged to Warren and Florence Harding. The collection includes six pieces of cut crystal (two 5.75" saucers or plates, two 5.75" wine glasses and two 4" cordials). These are all beautifully made with diamond-pattern and floral design elements. One is marked "Sinclaire". They are nearly identical in design to a monogramed Harding glass previously sold by us. There are fourteen .925 fine sterling silver teaspoons, twelve of which are engraved "Florence" in the bowl and another engraved "Delphion". There is an unused deck of bridge playing cards in the original Bailey, Banks and Biddle box. The back of the cards have the First Lady's monogram, "FKH". Finally, there is a linen hankie with the President's monogram, "WGH". Comes with Letter of Provenance indicating the items were sold by Harding's granddaughter to the Heritage antique shop in Marion, Ohio.
