Chester Alan Arthur: Personally-owned Leather Wallet. 3 7/8" x 3 1/8" leather billfold or wallet, gold-stamped on the front "C. A. Arthur." Excellent condition, lacking only securing cross-strap. The interior has two compartments for business cards or currency, one compartment for loose change and a holder for a pencil. It is accompanied by the original tissue paper wrapper that is inscribed: "President Arthurs book. Hatfield bought his home where he was sworn in as President in the back library at 123 Lexington Ave., New York City."Auction Info
