Boston, 10" x 16", 4pp. Front page articles describe Harvard conferring upon George Washington an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws, Admiral Esek Hopkins capturing pirate ships and an inventory of military supplies from English ships taken as "prizes". The balance of the paper has a commentary on the situation in Boston after the departure of the British, the text of a Congressional resolution signed in type by John Hancock, a report of a naval battle involving the Lexington, the arrival of General Washington at Cambridge, army deserters ads and one slave ad.

Condition: Scattered ink stains with one hole. Leaves separated but reattached using archival tape. Minor insect damage. Very good.
