Description

John Bell: Ultra Rare Back-to-Back Ferrotype. JBELL-1860-46, 25mm, brass. Despite tarnished frames, inscriptions are still legible. The obverse features Bell with the text "John Bell and the Constitution" and reverse bears image of Edward Everett with the text "Edward Everett and the Union." Portraits are both chipped with black marks, but the faces are easily recognizable. This ferrotype is not pristine, but it is certainly rare. No minimum bid. From the J.Doyle Dewitt Collection.
