Franklin D. Roosevelt: Looking Forward, Inscribed and Signed. Looking Forward. New York: The John Day Company, 1933. First edition. Octavo. 279 pages. Inscribed and signed by Franklin D. Roosevelt to White House employee, Marion S. Singer, and presented as a Christmas gift in 1933, "To Marion S. Singer, with a Merry Christmas from Franklin D. Roosevelt 1934." Light blue cloth with spine and front board stamped in gilt. Housed in a custom dark blue linen slipcase with black morocco spine label lettered and ruled in gilt. FDR collector bookplate affixed inside the slipcase chemise.

Condition: Spine faded with some spotting along the edges of the boards. Endpapers slightly toned. Very good.
