Description
Roosevelt & Garner: Phenomenal 1932 Jugate Tire Cover. Issued by the National Democratic Publicity Service in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this 28.5" jugate tire cover has definitely seen its share of "service." Featuring the slogan, "America's Fearless Leaders Elect Them" the tar-coated waterproofed canvas tire cover has silk screened images of FDR and Garner. The item is respectfully and thoughtfully framed under glass in an attractive presentation to a size of 38" overall and ready to hang on your wall. There is a fair amount of loss and tears throughout but thankfully not to the most important devices that provide a powerful and captivating display presence. A rare and wonderful item copyrighted 1932.Condition: Specifically, there is a 4" x 4" hole between the portraits and a smaller hole in the blank field next to Garner, as well as some tears. The holes have been camouflaged with matching color fabric.
