Description
Crow and Blackfoot Beaded Belts, c. 1880. Two belts from harness leather; one measuring 29", the other 35". Although the smaller of the two has lost some, both are decorated with thread sewn glass seed beads. Both buckles are mounted with an additional leather strap; the smaller belt's is sewn, the larger attached with brads. Both are in very good condition showing moderate discolor and wear with age.
