Description
Daniel Webster: Portrait Snuff Box. This 3.625" x 0.75" papier-mâché lacquered snuff box has a bust of "Daniel Webster" on the lid. The printing is black against a copper or gold-colored background. Minor damage is present at the top and bottom edges where the upper lid is cracked and the black top layer is chipped. Such boxes typically have moderate to severe crazing. The crazing on this specimen is extremely light. The bottom has some adhesive residue and stickers present. The interior is glossy and clean.
