Description
Roosevelt & Wallace: Canvas Banners. Matching 41" x 54" canvas banners with portraits of the 1940 Democrats. One is inscribed "Re-Elect Roosevelt" while the other says "For Vice-President Henry A. Wallace". Both made by William Wager of the Bronx. Both have minor wrinkling at the top and bottom. The FDR retains the two original rollers, but they are nearly detached. It also has some minor stains in the upper right, not affecting the portrait. The Wallace lacks the two rollers. They are clean examples overall.Auction Info
