Description
Abraham Lincoln: Star Ferrotype Stickpin. 1 1/2" five-pointed brass shell star with chased edges containing a ferrotype portrait of "A. Lincoln." The ferrotype surface is smooth and glossy and the portrait bold, in focus with good contrast. This frame saw use only in 1864 and 1868. We are aware of only a handful of specimens.
