Publisher's full blue cloth, front and spine stamped in gilt. Original illustrated dust jacket. Edges untrimmed. Mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; a few faint spots of soiling, discoloration at backstrip and joints. Edges of text block a bit softened; normal age toning; faint speckling along top and bottom edges. Very light foxing, discoloration to endpapers. A few moderately-sized chips at top and bottom edges of jacket; some soft creasing, fraying; mild toning and rubbing to exposed panels of jacket; front joint beginning to split from bottom up roughly 1.5". Verso faintly rubbed and toned. Near fine in a very good jacket.

Very minor age toning to edges and interior of text block; dust-soiling along top edge. Light wear to edges and folds of jacket; spotting to rear panel. Near fine.

Original illustrated dust jacket. Fore-edge untrimmed, others trimmed. Minor shelf wear at extremities of binding; backstrip very slightly faded with gilding rubbed; spine ends a touch pushed. Normal age toning to edges of text block; top edge a bit dust-soiled. Previous owner bookplate tipped to front pastedown; some faint thumbsoiling to first few leaves. Dust jacket spine panel a bit sunned; fairly mild edge wear with minimal paper loss at spine and flap fold ends with a touch at front flap; light rubbing and soiling to exposed panels of jacket. Verso faintly rubbed. Near fine.
