John F. Kennedy: Dallas Press Badge and Jack Ruby ALS. 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" paper badge in plastic sleeve with safety pin attachment worn at Love Field in Dallas when JFK arrived for his fateful visit in November. It reads: "President Kennedy's Visit to Dallas November 22, 1963 PRESS". Inscribed "No. 87" on the back with inked names Bob Ellis and Ceryl McDonald. There were three types of Love Field badges produced. The Press version is the rarest. Sold together with an April 12, 1964 Jack Ruby Autographed Letter Signed with original transmittal envelope addressed in his hand to the aforementioned Ceryl McDonald. The 6" x 4" note written in pencil acknowledges the receipt of a "beautiful card."
