First edition. Signed by Babe Ruth on the half-title page in
blue fountain ink. Octavo. 250 pages. Publisher's red cloth with
title blocked in black on the front board, spine printed in black;
original illustrated dust jacket.Condition: Slight rubbing at the spine edges, lower board edges bumped. Some faint smudges to the half-title page, one just touching the end of the "h" in Ruth. Internally tight and generally clean. Dust jacket unclipped ($3.00); panels rubbed, small edge tears and chips to the spine and rear panel edges, faint damp stain to the rear panel. A fine book in a good dust jacket.
