Lincoln & Johnson: Jugate Inauguration Ball Invitation. 7.5" x 10.5" engraved invitation for the "National Inauguration Ball. March 4th 1865." Engraved by Dempsey & O'Toole of Washington, D.C. The most desirable design of all inauguration ball invites. The name of the invitee is not filled in, as is typical, since the printer made a mistake on the date which was postponed until March 6th, due to inclement weather. Excellent.Auction Info
