Description
Stuart Roosa Large Color Apollo 14 Photo Signed. A 10.5" x 13.5" color photo of Roosa (1933-1994) sitting in a basket hanging from a helicopter during the crew's recovery from the Command Module Kitty Hawk in the Pacific Ocean on February 9, 1971. He signs on the mount beneath the photo, "To Bert - The End of a Long Trip - How Sweet it is/ Stuart A. Roosa". The photo is framed to an overall 16.75" x 20.75". This was a presentation by Roosa to a personal friend after the flight. Very fine condition with some overall light fading.Auction Info
